This project is a vertical circulation with a special experience and with a formally engaging interpretation of the concepts of "skeleton" and "solid. The Promenade Architectural fits within a 40 x 10 x 10 meter envelope.
This design required an intuitive yet thoughtful spatial investigation of the intrinsic spatial qualities of circulation and movement. In doing so, special attention is paid to the relationship between perception and movement, and form concepts, ordering principles and spatial keywords are used. In addition, the relationship between form and structure is emphasized.
Important is the relationship between movement and experience. The design of the boardwalk and surrounding spaces is in itself an interesting spatial composition.

The design sketch of the Promenade Architectural
This structure is composed of solid and skeletal parts. The wooden beams rhythmically placed throughout the massive walls interpret the skeletal structure. The descents and ascents each have a different gradient, allowing one to experience all elements differently with different vantage points. The "starting point" begins on the left, at the slow slope.
After the first incline and resting point, there is a staircase that leads to the massive space. In there is a drop to the passage back to the outdoors. In this passage you have a viewing area with an interesting shadow play due to the skeletal beams running above the visitor. At the far end of the passage there is a staircase down with a platform. One now emerges into tunnel of solid and skeleton with a large vantage point. The Promenade ends with a descent along high, massive walls and several steps between the wooden beams.
